Taking care of the constantly increasing requirements regarding environmental protection, URACA developed a concept that allows the pumping of critical media under high pressure without the pumped media escaping to the environment.
The aim was to transfer the legal requirements from the BImSchG to a plunger pump and to prevent its emissions of air pollutants and thus ensure the health safety of the operators.
This was realized by using a sophisticated and tailormade sealing concept with a special oil sealing at the stuffing box. In general all pump models from small to big can be equiped with this yery special sealing method in order to achieve „technically tight status in the sense of TA Luft an VDI 2440“.
